Meet The Team
At the heart of The Little Construction Company is a skilled team of professionals led by our Managing Director, Paul Davies. With 25 years in the conservatory and home improvement industry, Paul brings valuable expertise and clear vision to every project.
Under Paul’s leadership, our designers, craftsmen, and project managers blend traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques to create bespoke structures. We are proud to be a member of the Federation of Master Builders, a trusted mark of exceptional quality.
The Very Beginning: Our Founder, Paul
Every company has a beginning. Ours started with a pencil sketch, a respect for quality, and our founder Paul’s commitment to doing things properly.
Having spent years in the fenestration industry, Paul noticed how the trade was becoming increasingly focused on speed and volume rather than quality and personal service. He believed there was a better way – one that prioritised attention to detail and quality workmanship.
The Little Construction Company began as a small, personal operation with a simple philosophy: take the time to do the job right, focus on beautiful design, and treat every home with the care it deserves.
Prioritising Quality, Durability and Beauty
In the early days, there were no brochures or branded vans – just word of mouth and a growing list of happy clients.
Each conservatory, garden room, or timber-framed orangery was (and still is!) treated as a bespoke project, carefully designed to complement its surroundings.
As projects grew, so did the team – carefully and only with people who shared Paul’s commitment to quality. Experienced joiners, apprentices, and fitters joined the company, all united by a shared belief in doing things properly.
From day one, it’s never been just about what we build – it’s about how we build it, and why quality matters.

What makes your team different from other construction companies?
We’re a truly multi-skilled team with all trades in-house. Rather than subcontracting work to multiple companies, our own designers, builders, electricians, plumbers, and finishing specialists work together on every project. This means better coordination, consistent quality, and one point of contact throughout your build.
Do you only work on orangeries and conservatories?
Whilst we specialise in bespoke timber orangeries, conservatories, and garden rooms, we offer complete construction services including home extensions, renovations, custom builds, and general building works. If you’re unsure whether we can help with your specific project, please get in touch.
What does "turnkey service" mean?
Our turnkey service means we deliver a completely finished space, ready to use immediately. We handle absolutely everything—design, planning permission, groundworks, construction, all electrical and plumbing work, plastering, decorating, flooring, and finishing touches. You don’t need to coordinate any other contractors.
Do you handle planning permission and building regulations?
Absolutely. We manage all aspects of planning permission applications and building regulations compliance on your behalf. Our experienced team liaises with local authorities to ensure your project meets all regulatory requirements.
What trades do you have in-house?
Our in-house team includes designers and CAD technicians, structural specialists, master craftsmen and carpenters, groundwork and foundation experts, electricians, plumbers, plasterers and decorators, flooring specialists, and glazing installers. This comprehensive skill set means we genuinely handle everything ourselves.
